I like how you gave a good run-down on Blake’s history. The music from his EP’s truly differ from his work on this album. The fact that he engaged his voice into the tracks is something listeners haven’t heard before. The “Feist” cover he did for “Limit to your Love,” was also a sneak-peek for this album. I think you give readers a sense of what the album entails and what is to be expected before listening. From influences of the XX, Feist and your reference to Thom Yorke, sums up the sound in a easy way for audiences to grasp. The sense of cold emptiness is felt when listening to this album and he went against the norm in his creation.
