Sesto disco solista per Mick Harvey
Nuovo album per Mick Harvey, intitolato “FOUR (Acts of Love)”, per Mute Records.
“FOUR (Acts of Love)” è il sesto disco solista di Mick Harvey, e il seguito di “Sketches from the Book of the Dead” del 2011. L’ex The Birthday Party e Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds si è dunque riconcentrato in carriera solista dopo il suo splendido lavoro da produttore con PJ Harvey per “Let England Shake”.
“FOUR (Acts of Love)” è stato registrato al Grace Lane, North Melbourne e all’Atlantis Sound, Melbourne e vede la collaborazione di Rosie Westbrook al contrabbasso e JP Shilo alla chitarra e violino.
L’album, diviso in 3 atti, vede la collaborazione di PJ Harvey in “Glorious” e le interpretazioni dei The Saints in “The Story of Love”, Van Morrison in “The Way Young Lovers Do”, Exuma in “Summertime in New York” e Roy Orbison in “Wild Hearts (Run Out of Time)”.
